We received an e-mail from a XPSL official Sunday night stating that a red flagged player on Old School Hustle had not only played XPSL last year, but he was ranked as a novice. The player on Old School Hustle is contesting that information and stating that XPSL has made a mistake in their records. We have not posted OSH in the standings while we are investigating the situation further. If a player on their roster is found to not qualify, they will receive a 0 for the season standings and all players on their roster will be permanently banned from the NCPS. In the case that the XPSL records were inaccurate, then their points will be posted and there will be no penalty. We will release an official statement once our investigation is complete. Thanks, Aaron

you must of been one of the anonymous players who called or e-mailed, and expected me to take action without any proof based on hear say, which makes it harder to investigate. We feel that more than likely there may be a mistake in the XPSL records and OSH will probably be cleared of the accusations. Please Keep your non-constructive negative comments to yourself.
If you are trying to infer that we did not do our job. We checked the APPA system and contacted XPSL, but did not receive a response until Sunday night. We do our best to stop snndbagging, we are the only local tournament series with player I.D. Cards and and player data base. We are constantly trying to improve, if you have constructive criticism please share it with us.

I have to say CPS did what they could.... with the time they had. CPS is a great group of people, and I know they just want things to be fair. But really.... a mistake in the xpsl records? ? Like how often do you think that happens, and on that note, how often does it happen when other people say its true, and then xpsl confirms it.. I know osh and I know who has played what. On that note, its really crappy when people try to pull this bs, comprimising the tourney for everyone.

Thank you for understanding that we are doing our best. There is a problem with proceeding without proper proof, and if it was any other team accused, we would take the same precautions to protect them. I have a little more info on why we believe that there might be a mistake. My Squad played against OSH at SJ '06, I know many of the OSH players and spent some time in OSH's padlock talking to the guys, and this individual was nowhere around. We are giving the player 5 more days to straighten it out with XPSL, if XPSL still says their record is correct, then appropriate action will be taken. Again sorry for the delay, but we feel the truth is worth waiting for.

*looks at calendar* 5 days yet? I really wish some of you guys would grow up. If people keep posting intentionally stupid non-positive and non-constructive comments under guest names, I will make everyone sign in before they can post. We thought we would do the community a favor by letting anyone post, we thought more people would post their opinions, but instead you post stupidity under a guest name. Be warned, come here looking to spread your stupidity and you will be banned. BTW-bah your IP Address has been banned for posting for 30 days

We have herd no word from the OSH player or XPSL, therefore we have no choice - OSH has been DQ'd and their players will be banned from future NCPS events. Thank you for bearing with us.

Thanks for taking the time to sort all of this out. Stuff like this is bound to come up and the best anyone can do is hold tight until you have enough information to make a decision. You guys run a tight ship and I'm glad to participate in the fun. Keep up the good work
