i would say if not the cp's or stiffi line....then i would go with ultralite boomsticks cuz there pretty strong, very lite of course, and you can reanno them into any color you want........plus you can get them as a two piece barrel and make your own barrel kit with different backs and fronts (not sure if theres a kit thou from dye or im sure the shop would know about that)........but i use a one piece ultralite on my ripper and have a matching two piece one for my abomb and they both shoot darts so im happy with those, but i still prefer a stiffi over any barrel out there
oh yeah lastly, i believe the ultralite barrels are the cheapest out of all the dye barrels if iam not mistaken too

cps can get anything.......you should call them up and ask tomorrow and see what they have....the last time i check they didnt have them in stock but you never know what ships in late! as for the sizes....i believe in general you should always carry the biggest size and the one size below that which it usually goes .691 then a .688 or .689.........it doesnt really matter when it comes to .688 or .689s they seem to both work for all common paints in my experiences (ive had both sizes in the past) if anything give holli and aaron a call

yeah im sure of it now.......ultralites do come in different sizes.........and dye uses .688 as their common size for all .689 caliber paints which is fine.
the backs come in .692, .688, and .684 or 5 i forgot already.....but i do recommend the .692 so no matter what, you can use any paint out there UNLESS your shooting an autocoker........then the paint will roll out your gun if you dont have the proper match.......if you use an open bolt gun then you will be fine........hope this helps

If your considering the ultralight I would check out the Proto 2 piece. I'm using one on my Proto Matrix and it rocks. BTW it is actually lighter than the ultralight and I think it costs less.

^^^ what he said. I use an ultralite tip with a proto back, lightest dye barrel combo.
what peeps also dont know is that the proto and ultralite's are machined the same. Cosmetically they look different, but insde, bored the same. Neither way, you can go wrong with Dye barrels.
