So riddle me this.....
I have an abomb and that black beast ripper 2 right.
The abomb is setup with regular brass barbs and stock hosing, with the 2 liter aka reg, stock lpr, a KAPP THUMPER ram, hybrid adjustable ram cap and the oring-less all delrin violent products bolt. Its a used 2nd owner gun, which its history of usage, I have no clue. Bottomline at an operating pressure of 80 psi shooting at 275 fps, this gun is the SHIET....no kick, +/- 1 over the chrono, and shoots forever. Also, dwell is at 8.
The ripper is setup with all hybrid shiet: the hybrid verdict lpr, hybrid high flow barbs kit, cp inline reg, bl adjustable ram cap, stock bolt, and stock ram. First owner of this beast, brand new gun. Bottomline at an operating pressure of 75 psi shooting at 275 fps, I get ok results.......some kick, +/- 5 over the chrono with the occassional timmy spike into the 300's , but it still shoots forever. Also, dwell is at 8.
So me thinking says, what IF and I MEAN BIG IF I put all the abomb upgrades into ripper ie: the thumper ram + the vp bolt + 2 liter reg = I scream "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA pure sex".....but guess what?!?!?!?!?!?
WRONG!!!!!!!! dam thing is all over the place chrono wise and the ripper's operating pressure needs to be at 90psi to even shoot in the 270's.
Thus, my conclusion to my experiment has led me to believe, some upgrades are made just right for some types of timmys while others are rat shiet horrible upgrades/waste of money for the other types.
Your guys answers are:
1. My conclusion is correct and DAM BOB LONG TOLERANCES TO HELL.
2. I'm an idiot and I need to sell/trade my timmys away.
3. Keep your timmys and just figure out some other solutions.
4. Answers 1 and 3
5. Answers 1 and 2
6. All of the above
Thanks For Reading and Enjoy. God I love having a Cobra G7, more appreciative of that thing now.
